MISSION STATEMENT

Cambridge School is an institution dedicated to the pursuit of quality education in all its endeavours. We believe
that education transforms lives and transformed people can make a difference to the world and the societies they live in.
The mission of the school is to create a community of life long learners and critical thinkers empowered with the skills,
fortitude, optimism and integrity to develop their intellectual, social, emotional, physical, and creative potential
in an atmosphere of mutual respect and trust. The objective is to prepare the young minds under our care to face and
thrive in an increasingly challenging and ever more complex world. We are entering an environment where the value you
receive is increasingly dependent on the value you can give. Value is inextricably bound with knowledge. It is a world
dominated by knowledge and knowledge workers. In this world it is imperative that the young mind develops a passion for
knowledge and a strong will to work hard to gain it. We will strive to provide an appropriate curriculum together with
a challenging, supportive and effective learning environment that fulfils the educational needs of our students and
generates the desired learning outcome. The educational experience of each child should be an enriching and rewarding one.
We will endeavour to create a climate in which students will develop positive self esteem, a sense of responsibility,
concern for their community and environment and accept others with tolerance and compassion. We want our students
to have a strong sense of justice and fair play, the courage of their convictions and the ability to differentiate between right and wrong.
For education to be meaningful, the evolution of the school must keep pace with the changes in the social milieu.
Over the years the school has grown not only in size, but also in its sensitivity towards the providing of holistic
education. The school must take a lead in moulding the citizen of the future.
